Children in primary 3/4 have been exploring the topic of measure using non standard units to measure a range of items. We ran into a few problems when the amount of blocks didn’t match the cubes which didn’t match the cards or the scissors or the markers for that fact.
Pathing way for an understanding of why it is important to use a ruler for cm or n when measuring in the classroom.
