The children in Primary 2 have been introduced to their new topic - Fairytales! The children knew lots of Fairytale stories - Cinderella, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Little Red Riding hood etc. They were also able to recognise features of these stories, for example, most start with 'once upon a time' and finish with 'happily ever after'.
The children noticed that the trees on their Fairytale display wall, had no leaves. So, they decided it would be a good idea to go on a leaf hunt! There were so many lovely leaves, all with autumn colours. We saw yellow, green, orange, red and brown leaves. The children enjoyed collecting the leaves to bring back to their classroom!
