Another busy week in P7

26th Feb 2022

Another busy week in P7.

During our learning about angles, we decided to have a bit of fun and make some ‘human angles’. We had a great laugh trying to make acute, obtuse, tight angle and straight angles! The children were also challenged to find the missing angles in triangles!

As part of PDMU, there children were given a challenge to move a ball all the way around the circle using only their legs. It became even more fun and exciting when they tried to beat their time! Plenty of laughs were had and lots of thinking skills and communication skills utilised too!

As part of our ongoing Confirmation preparation, Canon Jimmy came in and celebrated the sacrament of penance with the class. After a very mindful examination of conscience, we all privately wrote down our sins and let the shredder do the rest. It was a lovely way to celebrate the sacrament and gave us all a bit of that special time to reflect.

We look forward to next week when we visit Enniskillen Museum as part of our Famine topic and The Planetarium in Armagh as part of Science Week
