Sending our worries away

18th Sep 2020

The children in Primary Two are doing a fantastic job of settling back into school and into their new class rules and routines!

During the school day, we take 'Brain Breaks' to help readjust focus, as the children are building their skills of concentration, focus and working independently. We have enjoyed dancing, singing, meditation, and prayer and reflection time.

In our Prayer and Reflection area, we have our Worry Plaque. The children are welcome to use the plaque if they are sad, feel worried, or feel anxious by simply placing their hand on it. When the plaque turns green, all their worries will have floated away! Thankfully, we haven't had to use it too often!
