Well done to Macey who won the A Kind of Spark book review contest in P7PF! She received a Waterstone's voucher for her efforts.
Pupils completed a lengthy book review on our topic novel. As part of the review, pupils wrote about what they liked, who their favourite character was and what the message of the story was.
Pupils picked up some excellent vocabulary as they read the book in class such as neurodivergent, overwhelmed, and injustice.
10 pupil's reviews were selected and put into a raffle.
We also watched the A Kind of Spark TV series and compared and contrasted this with the novel.
We look forward to completing another whole class novel before the end of the year.
