What an exciting afternoon P6 had in St Ronan’s today!
We had a special visit from Cecilia Daly, who is a BBC NI weather forecaster. St Ronan’s were given the opportunity to participate in BBC’s Roadshow event. BBC are celebrating 100 years of broadcasting in Northern Ireland.
Cecilia was very informative and explained her role as a weather forecaster brilliantly. The children had lots of opportunities to ask questions, and we all found out some very interesting information. The children were given a great insight to what it is like behind the scenes when working on television. I think after today’s visit, we will have a lot of children going down the line of the broadcasting industry, in the future.
