Celebrating Our Roots of Empathy Journey with Baby Tommy!
Today marked the final session of our Roots of Empathy programme, ending with a very special visit from our Tiny Teacher, Baby Tommy.
Over the course of the year, the children have followed Tommy’s journey from November through to June. It has been a joy to watch the strong connection that developed between the children and Tommy, with each visit bringing new learning and understanding.
Through the programme, the children have explored emotions, relationships, and the importance of empathy. They have grown in their ability to recognise feelings in others and to respond with kindness and care.
Well done to the Primary 6 children for their thoughtful engagement and enthusiasm throughout every session.
A sincere thank you to Tommy’s mum, Louise, for her commitment to the programme. Louise, your gentle nature, patience, and flexibility made every visit feel special for everyone involved.
And finally, a big thank you to our wonderful Tiny Teacher, Tommy. You brought so much happiness to our classroom, and your visits will be greatly missed.
