First Lego League Explore took place in W5 and was attended by a group of Primary 4 pupils.
The project involved understanding, designing and building renewable energy sources through the medium of Lego.
The children had so many ideas and while only a limited number of children could attend the entire class became involved.
It was a really enjoyable experience and the children received a 'Team Model Award', participation certificate and Lego medal.
The children learned so much about renewable energy and developed a better understanding of engineering.
