P7 continued with their forest school lessons by designing an assault course!
Children were tasked with designing an assault course that would put their strength, stamina and coordination skills to the test.
Pupils first designed a tunnel with bamboo, tarpaulin and clothes pegs. An 'over/under' obstacle was created using tall bamboo and twine. A selection of tyres were also laid out. A cairn building exercise was put in place towards the end of the course and the final obstacle involved rolling a tennis ball uphill through some guttering.
To help make the assault course more challenging, all pupils had to carry around a rugby ball!
Pupils completed a timed lap of the course and our winner was Edel with 39 seconds!
The P7 girls then helped the P3s complete the course in the afternoon.
We hope to complete more forest school lessons before the end of the school year ðŸ•
