The Primary 7 children continued their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation by attending the Clogher Diocesean Chrism Mass on Holy Thursday morning in Saint Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan.
This Mass was celebrated by Bishop Duffy and priests from all around the diocese. During the Mass the Holy Oils of Baptism, Chrism and the oil of the Sick were blessed by Bishop Duffy.
This is the only Mass in the Diocese on Holy Thursday morning and all the priests attend and renew their Ordination vows.
Everyone enjoyed this Mass and it was followed up with a nice treat for all the children in McDonald's before returning to school.
