Reading Festival – Book Swap As part of our Reading Festival to celebrate this year’s World Book Day, we want to encourage a love of reading across our school. Our aim is for every child to take home a “new-to-them” book completely free!
To help support families during the current cost of living pressures, we are asking for donations of any good?quality, pre?loved books that your child has already read or no longer wants.
Please send these into school as soon as possible.
We will organise all donated books and set aside time for every child to explore the collection and choose a newly loved book to enjoy at home.
Thank you for helping us promote reading, recycling, and community spirit!
| World Book Day – Costume Recycling Initiative With World Book Day approaching on Thursday 5th March, we are looking at ways to help reduce costs for families. If you have any World Book Day costumes from previous years that your child/children no longer need, we would love to recycle them and offer them to other pupils.
We will be running a World Book Day Costume Shop in school and are currently collecting unwanted, good?condition costumes. These can be left at the school office at any time.
Once we have gathered enough costumes, we will share the dates when families can come into school to choose a “new” costume.
Thank you for helping us promote reuse, save money, and support one another!
