Primary Three have been busy exploring lots of learning around our topic ‘Let’s Get Growing’. The pictures give a little insight to what we have been busy getting up to!
We have:
-Observed growth and blossom in our school environment from trees and plants in early spring until now.
-Studied parts of a bean seed plant and grown our very own broad beans taking care to look after them and observe daily and weekly changes.
-Completed a science experiment using celery to investigate how water travels through a plant.
-Used jelly beans to sort and record data for graphs.
-Measured and recorded heights of children in our class.
-Talked about food groups and ways to stay healthy.
-Participated in active brain breaks.
From small beginnings come great things!
