Mini Marathon 2026 Info
20th Apr 2026
On Friday 1st May, we will be having our Mini Marathon and PTFA Bake Sale at Emmett Park!
This was a hugely successful fundraiser last year and it is the perfect event to inspire our relay runners who are completing the Belfast Marathon on Sunday 3rd of May to raise funds for our outdoor play equipment and outdoor learning resources!
A permission slip will be issued to all pupils this week and further information will be shared with parents.
The event is very similar to last year and pupils will run, walk, and jog the routes below.
P1/2 pupils will stay on the pitches.
P3/4 pupils will use the Railway Path and the main pitch.
P5-7 pupils will use the Birdie Walk, Railway Path and the main pitch.
All races will finish in front of the stand and pupils will be given opportunity at the end of their races to attend the bake sale. All pupils will receive a medal and bottle of water as they cross the finish line.
In the interests of safeguarding and logistics, all pupils will return to school for lunch.
There is a professional photographer booked also.
More information will be shared over the coming days. We look forward to seeing you at Emmett Park to cheer on our wonderful pupils and staff as they complete the 2026 St. Ronan's Mini Marathon!
