Today, we finished up our first year of the Roots of Empathy programme with a heartfelt final visit from our Tiny Teacher Fíadh.
The children from Mrs Smith’s Primary 6 class got to witness the development of Baby Fíadh from October to June. It has been wonderful to watch the children develop a relationship with Fíadh. Roots of Empathy has taught the children about understanding the needs and feelings of others, fostering empathy, and developing social skills.
Thank you to the Primary 6 children for always being so engaged during each session.
A huge thank you to Baby Fíadh’s mother, Rachel, for agreeing to be part of this programme. Rachel was always so patient and flexible; you always came into the class full of warmth and kindness.
Finally, THANK YOU to our adorable little Baby Fíadh, you were a fabulous Tiny Teacher! You brought so much joy to everyone involved in the programme. We all will miss your monthly visits.
