The children in P2/3 had so much fun planting their spring bulbs in the Positivity Garden this week. They planted Daffodils and Tulips and helped to tidy the garden up with some weeding and sweeping.
We examined the two bulbs and noted their similarities and differences and labelled the various parts inlcluding the roots, stem and shoot! We also talked about what the bulbs will need in order to grow: water, soil and sunlight. The children will be waiting patiently for the first sign of the bulbs springing up through the soil!
