Both P.4. classes today visited Florencecourt to experience a Victorian Christmas. There they made Christmas decorations Victorian style, learned about the origins of Christmas customs and visited the kitchen quarters to hear about how the cook preserved food, prepared and served up a massive Christmas dinner. The children listened attentively to stories told, asked intelligent questions about Victorian times and thoroughly enjoyed making their intricate Christmas decorations. A fun time was had by all and the children were very appreciative of their tasty and enjoyable trip-packed lunches! Thank you parents and Well Done P.4. pupils!
