Yesterday, our Primary 7 pupils had the privilege of welcoming Canon Jimmy to their classroom. Taking the “hot seat,” Canon Jimmy answered a wide range of thoughtful questions from the children about his role as a priest, his journey to the priesthood and even his hobbies and interests outside of church life.
The pupils were incredibly thorough in their questioning and Canon Jimmy remained calm and engaging throughout, offering honest and insightful answers. This special visit gave the children a deeper understanding of what it means to be a priest and the person behind the collar.
We extend our sincere thanks to Canon Jimmy for taking the time to visit and share his experiences with us. It was a memorable and meaningful opportunity for our pupils to learn more about faith and community.
