What a busy week it has been in Primary 3!
This week was Space week which tied in great for our topic this term.
We completed lots of activities such as building our own class rocket, Miss Caughey was extremely busy helping the children design and make it. Pupils also had a homework based activity were they got to build their own rocket. They were only allowed to use materials from home, all of the rockets are fantastic!
In class we spent some time listening to videos and reading fact books to create our very own fact file on the Solar System.
We spent time pumping up inflatable planets which are now on display in our classroom, what a great visual aid for the children.
Primary 3 were also very busy in the ICT suite, creating images on the 2Paint Program of the Solar System, we had to remember our little rhyme so we could draw the planets in the correct order.
