Decimals have formed the basis of our latest maths lessons in P7. Pupils have been looking at place value, estimating, rounding, addition and subtraction. Last week, pupils took their learning outside and combined their understanding of decimals with measurement of distance and time. Pupils completed some standing long jumps and sprints as a way of collecting data which they could later apply their knowledge to. Pupils were also introduced to some KS3 science equations such as speed = distance/time. Calculators were also used as part of this lesson. Well done boys and girls!
