The children from Primary 4 and Primary 7, year groups undertaking very important Sacraments, were invited to the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend St Bernadette's Relics welcoming Mass.
Before Mass the children formed a guard of honour and threw petals in front of the procession as it made its way into the chapel. This was followed by a Decade of the Rosary and then Mass.
After communion the children were invited to approach the relic, bow and touch it. This was a very unique experience for everyone involved and some of the children even made it onto BBC News.
