Primary 2 had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day! The children arrived dressed in fantastic costumes and enjoyed a special visit to Lisnaskea Library, where they were given a tour and listened to stories read by Edel. Back at school, we took part in a whole-school assembly to admire everyone’s creative outfits and also enjoyed a fun book swap, giving each child the chance to choose a new story to take home. To round off our celebrations, we were delighted to welcome author Kayla Megan Burns, who shared her book When I Play For The County: The Fermanagh Footballer with the children. It was a brilliant day filled with stories, imagination, and excitement!
