Online Safety

In St. Ronan's Primary and Nursery School, we believe that the Internet and other digital technologies are very powerful resources which can enhance and potentially transform teaching and learning when used effectively and appropriately.  Whilst these ICT resources can be exciting and beneficial both in and out of the context of education, all users need to be aware of the range of risks associated with their use.

In St. Ronan's Primary and Nursery School, we understand the responsibility to educate our pupils on e-Safety issues. We aim to teach them appropriate behaviours and critical thinking to enable them to remain both safe and legal when using the internet and related technologies, in and beyond the context of the classroom.
