This term the children are looking at instructional writing.
They have worked hard to develop their understanding of the key features, completed problem solving and seen a modelled example!
This week they have been completing a little challenge as groups, creating a set of instructions for a small rubber band powered car based on a video.
This task involved a great depth of thought and the children have been applying a lot of effort to make this a success.
In the near future, while each pupil will build this little car and have some fun racing them, the task will provide an opportunity to further develop knowledge of how to really create great instructions.
